We can’t do it without you!
We depend on volunteers like you who want to help us “teach democracy.” Each year, over 1,000 volunteers contribute their time and abilities so that Teach Democracy can reach millions of educators and students.

Participating in the mock trial was the best preparation I could have asked for as a junior associate. Coming out of law school, I never had much interest in coaching or working with students. I remain quite surprised by just how much I love it and consider myself both fortunate and grateful to have been involved with it. It has made me a better lawyer and given me something priceless: an extended family of 200 or more current and former students.
