Civic Action Project

Preparing students to be active, informed participants in our democracy.

What is Civic Action Project?

Civic Action Project (CAP) is a free project-based learning program for civics that enables students to apply what they learn in the classroom to examine and address real-world issues that matter to them. CAP includes research-based, instructional best practices proven to enhance students’ civic knowledge, skills, and dispositions, which prepares them to become informed and engaged participants in our democracy. The CAP curriculum is flexible and easy to integrate into ELA, social studies, and science classrooms.
