CAP Contest
Have your Civic Action Project featured on a national level and win cash prizes!
Through Civic Action Project, you are working on issues that really matter. Teach Democracy’s CAP Contest is a great way to show the nation how you are making a difference! To enter, you will create a multimedia presentation to share your CAP experience. Your presentation must include the issue you are working on, the actions you are taking, and how you are connecting your issue to policy.

Tell your story in any digital format you choose. Format examples:
- Presentation (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.)
- Video (e.g., documentary, PSA, etc., up to five minutes)
- Website
What should my contest entry include?
- An explanation of the specific problem or issue you worked on;
- Reasons why the problem or issue is important to you and/or your community, and;
- Descriptions of the civic actions you took to make change and influence public policy.
How do I enter the contest?
Once your contest entry is ready, complete the online entry form (instructions included on entry form).
Please submit your entry by [Day, Month, Year, Time]. All entries received after this date will be automatically entered in next year’s competition.
