Three Simple and Effective Ways to Give Your Students a Civic Voice
Social studies teachers are on the frontlines in helping the next generation make sense of the present and prepare for the future. This semester, whether you are working remotely, inside the classroom, or somewhere in between, we hope you and your students will join Civic Action Project (CAP) to help students understand the connections between addressing real problems, policy, and civic engagement.

Our first webinar for teachers will occur on February 3, 2021 @ 4:00 p.m. (Pacific)/7:00p.m. (Eastern). During the webinar, you will learn three approaches to teaching Civic Action Project:

The CAP Youth Board will teach CAP for you!
Participating classrooms will:
- Engage in monthlylive webinars featuring dynamic guest speakers
- Receive rojectcoaching by experienced CAP Youth Board members
- Collaborate withgeographically diverse students
- Identify issuesand concrete steps to advocate for change
- Complete a CivicAction Project (useful for college applications, job portfolios,etc.)
- Receive a CivicAction Project certificate
- Receive an invitation to participate in the National Civic Action Project Expo
