2025 State Finals - March 14-16 in Los Angeles.
At the State Finals, the winning teams from 36 counties will present People v. Gold, the trial of Logan Gold, the assistant campaign manager to their spouse, Harper Dorais, a candidate for city council in the rural mountain town of Emerald Bend, California. Gold is charged with the kidnapping of Taylor Alexander, a rival candidate to Dorais in the city council election. The pretrial issue centers on a defense motion to exclude a potentially incriminating statement made by Logan Gold while in police custody.
